Winter fun in the Zillertal

Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area

Almost 90 km of slopes, night skiing, deep snow experiences, ski runs for beginners, and much more: the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area is a true winter wonderland! Located at an elevation of 2,500 m, you can expect the best snow conditions until into April. With both lifts in Kaltenbach, you can reach all the highlights of the ski area such as the Betterpark Hochzillertal for freestylers or the almost 20 mountain restaurants for refreshments and après ski.

PS: with good snow conditions, you can even ski back to the hotel via the Aschau valley run ;-) (free shuttle service)

If this still isn't enough, you can also explore the ski area of the Zillertal Arena. The Karspitz lift or the Rosenalm lift will comfortably take you up to the ski runs - and then you can dash down Austria's longest valley run with a seemingly endless length of 10 km!

Guest kindergarten

Along with the guest kindergarten that has been around at the summit station of the Hochzillertal lift for several years, there is also a guest kindergarten in the Hochfügen ski area at the panoramic restaurant as well as at the summit station of the Spieljoch lift.

Pure tobogganing enjoyment

Are you ready to experience a winter wonderland while tobogganing with tons of fun and action? The nearest toboggan run is 12 km north in Fügen, where you turn left and head up the mountain. Awaiting you here is a 3.5 km long toboggan run at the Goglhof, which is floodlit and offers toboggan rentals.

A real highlight is on the Hainzenberg, which is 10 km south. Here, the Gerlosstein lift will take you directly into the ski area with the longest toboggan run in the Zillertal! On the 7 km long toboggan run, you can put the pedal to the metal and enjoy a cozy stop for refreshments.
